Amazing Grace Culinary & Etiquette Program (AGCEP) is the inspired idea of Rev. Allen Grimes, founder of Harvest Time Community Ministries, Inc. His love and passion in helping young people develop into future leaders of tomorrow became his ultimate goal. Throughout his years of working with youth in the Montgomery County area, he saw a lack of leadership among the young people he was serving. This led to his investigation into the reasons why young people were socially deficient in certain areas. The results led to the creation of Amazing Grace Culinary & Etiquette Program.

AGCEP exposes youth ages 12 to 17 years of age to basic cooking & etiquette techniques. This is accomplished through a fun-filled interactive six-week course. AGCEP allows young participants to explore and develop social and leadership skills through the art form of culinary and etiquette. The students learn how to prepare proper table settings and develop dining etiquette skills plus good manners.

The culinary portion of the program is administered by some of the best professionals in their discipline in the country as well as the Washington Metropolitan Area. The etiquette classes are administered by world renowned author, facilitator, and life coach, Ms. Cynthia Lett. Ms. Lett is the principal of The Lett Group (www.lettgroup.com) and the founder and Executive Director of the International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals (www.ispep.org).  Harvest Time Community Ministries, Inc. is proud to mention its partnership between “Montgomery County Recreation” and “The Etiquette Pro”, led by Ms. Cynthia Lett.
